WOW!!! Manchester City Has Renamed Its Training Ground After Yaya Touré

After spending eight years in Manchester City, Yaya Touré will be saying goodbye to the Cityzens at the end of the season.
The season doesn’t end until May 13 but Man City has already given Touré the best tribute any footballer could ever dream of: renaming the club’s training ground after the Ivorian!
According to Manchester Evening News, Man City’s academy field will now be called “Yaya Touré Pitch” – has a nice ring to it.
In addition to the name change, the club also erected a mosaic in honour of the 34-year-old at the training ground.
Since joining Man City in 2010, Touré made 230 appearances, gave 32 assists and scored 62 goals – all of which amounted to three Premier League trophies for the club.
Not only is he leaving with this huge package, his last appearance with the club came with the 3–1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.
You must admit, no footballer wants to remember
their last appearance on a team as a loss. And nothing beats going out with a bang.
